SONGS OF AN OBSERVER

An Advance Reading Collection by Lawal Ibraheem

Before the full collection arrives, here are some of the words that began the journey.

SONGS OF AN OBSERVER is an ongoing poetry collection by Lawal Ibraheem, a poet who writes from observation, imagination, and the things life leaves behind in the mind.

This advance reading collection brings together 15 poems from a larger body of work that is being developed toward a collection of approximately 100 poems.

Within these pages, you will encounter childhood memories, imagined worlds, love, silence, loss, and reflections on the ordinary moments people often overlook.

From the wonder of THE MORNING BIRDS to the imaginative journey of THE DANCING PRINCESS, and the quiet weight of THE WORDS I BURY IN SILENCE, these poems offer an introduction to the voice and vision behind the larger work.

These 15 poems are not the end of the journey. They are an invitation to step into the world of an observer while the full collection continues to take shape.
