Thinking of starting a pig farm in Nigeria, or just started and feeling lost? This guide tells you the honest picture: what it costs, how feed really works, how to weigh and record, how to protect your pigs from disease, and how to run the farm when you are not standing in it.

It comes from Zuri's Livestock Limited, a pig and snail farm in Ikorodu, Lagos, managed remotely with AgriDoc Systems. Pig farming can make good money when it is well structured and properly managed, and when you cut your feed bill without cutting the nutrition. This guide shows you how.

GOOD TO KNOW (please read)

This is a guide and a record-keeping toolkit. It is not veterinary, legal, tax or financial advice, and it contains no drug names or doses. Work with a qualified vet, and check local rules with your state authorities.
It does not promise profit. Pig farming has real risks, including disease and slow growth. We show a hard, a middle and a good case.
Farm examples are from one farm's records, not averages. Examples and estimates are labelled so you can replace them.
Prices, rules and disease news change. Sources and dates are listed in the guide.
