Introduction for Learners

Welcome to Introduction to Google Cloud Identity—a practical guide designed to help you understand, implement, and master identity and access management (IAM) in a modern cloud environment.

In today’s digital world, identity is no longer just about usernames and passwords—it is the foundation of security. Organizations now rely on identity systems to control access to applications, data, and infrastructure. As cloud adoption continues to grow, understanding how identity works within platforms like Google Cloud Identity has become an essential skill for IT professionals, security engineers, and aspiring cloud practitioners.

This book is built with a hands-on, real-world approach. Rather than focusing only on theory, it is designed to help you learn by doing.

What Makes This Book Different?

Throughout this book, you will find a combination of:

Clear explanations of identity concepts
Real-world scenarios based on enterprise environments
