You have been held back for too long waiting for your life to be perfect, waiting to erase all your mistakes, waiting for everything to make sense. You have been waiting too long to stop being clueless and confused.

You have gone on too long not knowing what to expect from life in the university or just life as an adult, and how to make the most of it. You have gone on for too long without information that can help you navigate the transitioning from teenagehood to adulthood.

I know, and I love that you are here now. Welcome home!

Young, Clueless and Trying was born out of a desire to share lived experiences that most young adults can relate with, especially as undergraduates. It briefly tells the story of a young, clueless girl who came face-to-face with the strange thing called growth and how she managed to excel even with the many obstacles faced from within and outside of her.

This book is a hug to you from me. It’s my subtle way of saying “look, you are not alone, I have been here, I feel you. You are young, clueless, trying. I am too”. We are in this together so here, another warm hug.

Warning, you might cry a bit but it’s all good. You’ll laugh more than you’ll cry, and you’ll get a comforting hug as you flip through every page here!
