Welcome to Class!

By the end of this tutorial, you’ll be able to design a beautiful Crinoline Scrunch headpiece — but more importantly, you’ll awaken a creative part of yourself that contributes to mental wellness, lowering your risk of dementia.

When I returned to the Millinery space in Ghana in 2022 — a skill I first learned in 2013 as an SHS graduate — I realised something profound:

📌Many people want to return to crafting after years of “life happening,” but they don’t know where or how to begin.

And in a world filled with endless online tutorials, the real need is not “more information.”

The real need is information that solves real-world problems like retirement and aging fears — without overwhelming you.

That’s why this tutorial exists.

Whether you are looking to rediscovering your creative side, looking for a meaningful hobby in this phase of life, or wanting to stay mentally active and engaged through hands-on craft, this class gives you the perfect place to start.

Because creativity is more than a skill —

✅It is therapy.

✅It is stimulation.

✅It is wellness.

✅It is joy.

And research continues to show that creative activities like Millinery help keep the mind sharp, active, and resilient — especially with aging or after long seasons of high performance.

So, who is this tutorial for?

This tutorial is for you if you:

📍 Desire a mentally-stimulating hobby that keeps you active and engaged as you navigate old age or retirement

📍 Want to explore a calm, purposeful, craft-based activity for wellness

Whatever your goal — income, creativity, wellness, or rediscovering a joyful part of yourself — this class meets you right where you are.

You’ll walk away with clarity, direction, and the confidence to create again.

If you find this tutorial helpful, please leave a comment — I read every single one. 😊

Happy crafting!
