Okayyy, welcome to the other side.

So quick back story!

I didn't sit down one day and thought... oh I need to create a masterclass.

It started with a phone call.

A friend of mine reached out one evening. She works with one of the biggest artistes out of Chicago, and they were going after a brand ambassadorship deal with Under Armour.

Big deal.

The kind that changes an artiste's career.

Problem was, her team was on tour.

Everybody was at full capacity.

Nobody had the bandwidth to sit down and build the pitch deck a deal like that deserved. So she outsourced it to me.

Now, this wasn't my first time building a proposal deck for her. I had done it plenty of times before.

But this one was different.

This was Under Armour (if you know, you know).

Anyway, I went to work, did my night, and then, some minutes after midnight, the deck was done. I sent it to her the next day.

They walked into the meeting with it.

And a few days later, she hit me up with this:

Did you see that?

She wasn't chasing them. They were chasing her.

Was I surprised?

Hmmm, not really. *Humbe brag*

I have done this more than I can count. Been doing this for 6 years and have landed deals with Jameson, GOGI, Smirnoff, Planet Utopia, Abbey Inn, Monster Energy, just to mention a few.

But that experience got me thinking…

My friend had someone to call. Most people don't. There are organizers out there right now with events worth backing — real audiences, real ideas — sitting on proposals that will never get a reply.

Not because the event isn't good enough. Because nobody ever showed them how to build out a solid pitch deck that gets the deal.

And here's the thing: what I do isn't magic.

It's a systematic process.

The same one I run every time, whether the brand is Under Armour or a company down the road here in Lagos. A process can be taught.

So I decided to teach it.

For a fee.

Introducing…

The 3-day Brand Sponsorship Masterclass (4th Edition)

In this masterclass, I'll show you how to land sponsorships and partnerships for your projects (maybe for your event, your foundation, fashion project, whatever project as long as it needs brands to partner with you

You'll learn:

How to turn your event into a sponsorship opportunity.

Not another request for money.

How to find your “commercial alignment.”

The sweet spot where your event gives the brand something they already want.

Why your first page is losing the deal. Most proposals are decided before page two. I'll show you what belongs on that first page, and what's quietly costing you the reply.

How to work out what your event is genuinely worth. Most project managers/organizers pull a number out of the air and then feel awkward defending it.

There's a way to arrive at it properly — and it has less to do with headcount than you'd think.

How to find the brands that were always going to say yes. Every project/event has a motive. Every brand has one too. The whole game is matching them — and I'll show you how to spot the fit before you burn three weeks pitching a company that was never interested.

How to research a brand before you pitch it. This is the part almost nobody does. It's also most of the work. It's what I was doing that night, long before I opened the deck.

How to build activations that make brands lean in.

Not the usual logo-placement stuff everybody else is offering.

How to build the deck, page by page. What goes in. What order. What to leave out. By day three you'll have the exact structure I use every single time.

How to package and price what you're offering. Tiers, deliverables, what to charge for what. So you walk into the conversation with a number you can actually stand behind.

What to do when you hear "we'll get back to you." Because you will. There's a follow-up that reopens the conversation, and there's the one most people send that quietly ends it.

And how to do all of this without a big following, a long track record, or a single contact inside the brand. Because I had none of those when I started.

How the three days break down

Day 1 — How Brands Think We start on their side of the table. What a brand manager is trying to achieve, how sponsorship budgets actually get approved, and why "support my project" is the fastest way to get ignored. By the end of day one you'll understand why your proposals have been going quiet.

Day 2 — Finding the Right Brands Most project lead waste months pitching companies that were never a fit. This day is about alignment — how to identify the brands your event genuinely serves, how to find out what they're currently pushing, and how to build a target list you can work through properly instead of sending the same email to twenty companies.

Day 3 — The Deck and the Pitch The part everyone asks about. We build the proposal together, page by page. Then how to price it, how to send it, who to send it to, and how to follow up so the conversation stays alive.

This is for you if:

You have a project, event, platform, campaign or idea you want brands to support — but you’re not sure how to turn it into something they’ll actually want to partner with

You’re an event organizer, event planner, festival organizer or conference producer trying to secure sponsors for an upcoming event

You’re an artist, musician, DJ, filmmaker, photographer, fashion designer or other creative looking for brand partnerships to fund or amplify your next project

You run a fashion show, exhibition, concert, tour, pop-up, launch, screening, showcase or creative experience and need brands to come on board

You’re a content creator, influencer, podcaster, media platform or online community trying to turn your audience into meaningful brand partnerships

You’re building a startup, small business or new product and want brands to partner with a launch, activation, campaign or experience

You run an NGO, foundation, social-impact project, charity initiative or community program and need corporate sponsors to support the work

You’re organizing a sports competition, fitness event, tournament, race, club or sporting initiative and need brand backing

You’re working on a school, campus or youth project — from student events and competitions to conferences, awards and initiatives — and need sponsors

You’re a marketing professional, partnership executive, brand manager or project lead responsible for bringing external partners into a campaign or project

You’re putting together a tourism, culture, food, nightlife or hospitality experience and need the right brands attached to it

You have a community, membership, association or professional network and want to create sponsorship opportunities around what you’re already building

You’ve already sent proposals to brands and heard nothing back

You keep getting “we’ll get back to you” and don’t know how to move the conversation forward

You’re tired of funding the entire project yourself when there are brands that could benefit from being part of it

You have the concept, audience or opportunity, but you’re struggling to communicate the value in a way brands understand

You’ve been assuming you need a huge following, powerful connections or a massive project before brands will take you seriously

You’re working on your first major project and would rather learn how sponsorship actually works before wasting months pitching the wrong brands

Or simply: you have something worth building, you believe a brand could benefit from being involved, and you want to know how to put together a partnership offer that gives them a reason to say yes.

This isn't for you if:

You're looking for a list of brand contacts to spam. (side eye to those sending generic proposals AKA master proposals)

You want someone to build your deck for you — this is about you learning to do it yourself

You don't currently have an event, project or platform to pitch

"But my event is small"

Good. So was mine.

The organizers who struggle most are the ones waiting until they're "big enough" to approach brands. Brands aren't only buying scale.

Plenty of them are buying the right audience, the right room, the right association.

A focused 200-person event can be worth more to a brand than a messy 2,000-person one — if you know how to present it.

You don't need a big following. You need a clear offer.

"I'm not a graphic designer"

Neither am I.

The deck that had Under Armour pushing for a follow-up wasn't a design masterpiece. It was the right information, in the right order, aimed at the right people.

That's a thinking skill, not a graphic design skill. And it's what we're spending three days on.

The details

What: The 3-Day Brand Sponsorship/Partnership Masterclass

When: [November 27th - November 29th] at [ 7:00pm ]

Where: Live on Zoom

Two things before you decide

First, I'm capping this at 30 people.

Not as a marketing tactic.

It's a live class, and I actually want to answer your questions — look at what you're working on, tell you where your deck is losing the deal, point you at the right brands for your event.

I can do that properly for 30 people.

I cannot do it for 200.

So when it's full, it's FULL.

I'd rather run it again later than run it badly now.

Second, the price.

The masterclass is ₦125,000.

But if you pay within the next hour, you're in at ₦50,000.

That's ₦75,000 off, and it's the only discount I'm running on this one.

This page is shown to hundreds of people, so I expect this to fill up fast

SECURE YOUR SEAT NOW WHILE YOU CAN

One more thing

I'm not going to try to convince you.

If brands are replying to your proposals and your projects are getting funded, you don't need this.

But if you have an upcoming project and you're still hoping the money sorts itself out — you already know how that one goes.

The scramble.

Funding it yourself.

Cutting down something you were genuinely excited about, because the budget never came together.

You can work this out the way I did.

Six years, a lot of proposals that went nowhere, and plenty of lessons I'd rather you skip.

Or you can give me three days.

Twenty seats.

₦50,000 if you move now.
