Telestrator: A new input type that enables live drawing and annotation over video, accessible from any modern web browser on devices like tablets, phones, or laptops. This feature requires a 4K, Pro, or Max edition of vMix.

Multi-streaming: vMix 28 supports up to five simultaneous streaming outputs to destinations like Facebook, YouTube, or custom RTMP servers.

Encoder Statistics: New statistics help users monitor hardware encode usage, which is useful for optimizing performance when using multi-streaming and recording features.

Enhanced Multiview: Includes an additional multiview output with customizable layouts, allowing for more flexible monitoring of inputs and outputs. Users can also click on an input within the multiview to select it for preview.

Improved Audio: The audio bus for monitoring can be set to any available audio bus, not just the master bus.
