Being a MEDVA: The Hands-On Medical VA Workbook

From curious to client-ready, one practical step at a time.

Want to work as a medical virtual assistant for US clinics but don't know where to start? This workbook doesn't just explain the job. It makes you practice it.

What's inside

33 modules in 8 phases: foundations, HIPAA, medical terminology, scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, prior authorization, SOAP notes, billing, denials and getting hired
Fillable PDF: type your answers straight into the boxes on your phone or computer
Real-world labs: every module ends with a 3-step task, about 20 minutes, in tools like Google Calendar, Calendly, Google Sheets, Forms and Gmail
Realistic practice: a full patient intake call and form, a color-coded clinic schedule, insurance math, claim forms, denial codes and mock interviews
MEDVA Passport: tick off each module and lab as you finish
Build as you learn: you finish with portfolio pieces you can show clients, made with fictional patient data
