Every eligible Selar user gets a unique referral code to share. The more people in your network who sign up and stay subscribed, the more your earnings grow.

How It Works

Getting started is straightforward.

Share your referral code with other creators and affiliates. When someone signs up using your code, they get 5% off their subscription automatically. You earn 10% commission on every successful subscription payment they make going forward. If that person later becomes a Selar affiliate, you also earn 20% of their annual affiliate subscription.

A few things to keep in mind. Each Selar account can only redeem one referral code in its lifetime, so the earlier your code reaches people, the better. Commissions are tied to active subscriptions. When a referred user’s subscription expires without renewal, your commissions from that subscription pause until they renew their plan.

Who Can Participate?

To join the Refer & Earn program, you need an active Selar account and a current subscription to an eligible plan. Eligible plans include the Affiliate Plan and any paid Creator Plan on Selar.

If your subscription expires or you downgrade to the Free plan, you will stop earning commissions from new referral conversions. Your referral history stays on your account, though, and if you upgrade back to an eligible plan, you can resume earning from eligible referrals going forward.

Referral Code Management

All eligible users receive an autogenerated referral code automatically. Only creators on the Turbo plan and above can edit their autogenerated code. Users on other plans cannot modify their referral code.

If you are on the Turbo plan or higher and you change your referral code, your previous code is deactivated immediately. Anyone who tries to use the old code after that will not be able to sign up as your referral, so make sure your network has your updated code.

Referral codes do not expire as long as your account remains active and eligible. Selar may deactivate referral codes associated with suspended accounts.

A Note on Refunds

If a referred user’s subscription payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the commission earned from that transaction will also be reversed. If the commission has already been credited to your wallet, the refunded amount may be deducted from your available balance. Future commissions earned will be used to offset any outstanding amount.
