Refund Policy
We want every purchase from Devien Consult Ltd to be a good decision for you. This policy explains how refunds work across our different product and service types.
1. Digital Downloads
eBooks, HR templates, SOP packs, and other digital downloads are non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded, in line with standard digital-goods practice. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, contact us at [email protected] and we will resolve it promptly.
2. Devien HR Academy and Cohort-Based Programmes
A withdrawal request made in writing to [email protected] within 48 hours of enrolment, and before the second live session, is eligible for a full refund less any payment processing fee. Requests made after this window are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed, given that a place has been reserved and cohort materials allocated on your behalf.
3. Career Coaching Services (CV & Cover Letter Power Pack™, LinkedIn Makeover Lab™, Interview Mastery Studio™, and similar fixed-price services)
If a session has not yet taken place, you may cancel and receive a full refund up to 24 hours before your scheduled session. Once a session has been delivered, or materials (e.g., a completed CV draft) have been provided, the service is considered rendered and is non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, contact us we would rather make it right than issue a refund.
4. HR Consulting, HR Outsourcing, and Recruitment Engagements
These engagements are governed by the payment and cancellation terms set out in your signed Service Level Agreement (SLA), not by this general policy. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, as they secure allocated consulting time and resources; any exceptions will be stated explicitly in your SLA.
5. Corporate Training
Refunds and cancellations for corporate training engagements follow the terms agreed in the corresponding proposal or contract, based on notice period and preparation already undertaken.
6. How to Request a Refund
Send your request to i[email protected] with your order reference and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days and, where a refund is approved, to process it within 5–7 business days.
