Effective date: October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to products and services purchased from Morecraft Law through our Selar store. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms together with any product-specific terms shown on the relevant listing. Selar’s own platform terms may also apply to your use of the Selar platform.
3.1 Product information and scope
We aim to describe each product or service accurately. The scope, deliverables, turnaround time and exclusions stated on the relevant product page form part of these Terms. Where there is an inconsistency, a product-specific term expressly stated on the relevant listing will apply to that product.
3.2 Digital legal resources
Digital templates, guides and other downloadable materials are general-purpose resources. They do not constitute legal advice tailored to your circumstances and do not create a lawyer-client relationship. Their suitability depends on the facts, transaction, industry and applicable law. Professional review may be appropriate before a document is signed or relied upon.
3.3 Professional services purchased through the store
Purchase of a consultation or diagnostic service entitles you only to the service described on the relevant product page. It does not create an ongoing retainer for other legal work. Any further instruction is subject to Morecraft Law’s usual client-acceptance and conflict procedures and, where applicable, a separate engagement arrangement.
3.4 Conflicts and acceptance of instructions
Professional services remain subject to conflict and client-acceptance checks. If Morecraft Law is unable to provide a purchased professional service because of a conflict or other client-acceptance issue identified before substantive work begins, the amount paid for that service will be refunded.
3.5 Client information and cooperation
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information and documents reasonably required for the service. Turnaround periods begin only when the stated prerequisites for the service have been received. Morecraft Law may pause a service where information or documents required to proceed are incomplete or outstanding.
3.6 Business Legal Health Check
The Business Legal Health Check is a diagnostic review based on the questionnaire, information and documents provided by the client. It is not formal legal due diligence, an audit, title investigation, regulatory investigation or assurance exercise. The standard service includes review of up to five documents of ordinary length and complexity. Morecraft Law may exclude or separately quote for unusually lengthy, complex, specialist or transaction-specific documents.
3.7 Intellectual property and permitted use
All copyright and other intellectual-property rights in Morecraft Law templates, guides, questionnaires, reports, methodologies and other proprietary materials remain with Morecraft Law except where expressly stated otherwise. Digital resources are licensed to the purchaser for the purchaser’s own personal or business use. They may not be resold, sublicensed, published, uploaded for public access, distributed as templates to third parties or otherwise commercially exploited without prior written permission.
3.8 Fees and payment
Prices are those displayed at the time of purchase, subject to any applicable platform charges, taxes or payment-processing amounts shown at checkout. Payment is processed through Selar and its payment providers. A service will not ordinarily commence until the applicable payment has been confirmed.
3.9 No guarantee of outcome
Legal advice and diagnostic services involve professional judgement applied to the information available. Morecraft Law does not guarantee a particular commercial, regulatory, transactional or legal outcome. Recommendations may require further investigation or implementation work outside the purchased scope.
3.10 Third-party platforms
The store and aspects of payment, booking, file transfer or communications may rely on third-party platforms. Morecraft Law is not responsible for outages or failures outside its reasonable control but will take reasonable steps to assist where a platform issue materially affects delivery of a purchased service.
3.11 Governing law and resolution of concerns
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a concern arises, please contact Morecraft Law first so that the matter can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved promptly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
3.12 Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to a purchase is ordinarily the version published when the purchase was completed, unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.
