Bookshelf ("we", "us") runs this store to sell digital books [PDF, Audio] worldwide and hardcopy books in Kenya.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

When you order, we or Selar collect:

2.1 Contact Info: Name, email, WhatsApp/phone number

2.2 Order Info: Books purchased, format, amount paid, Order ID, date

2.3 Delivery Info: For hardcopy - delivery town, estate, recipient phone

2.4 Payment Status: "Paid" or "Failed". We do NOT see or store your card number, CVV, or bank PIN. Selar/PayPal/M-Pesa handle that securely.

3. HOW WE COLLECT IT

3.1 From Selar: When you checkout, Selar sends us your order details.

3.2 From You: When you WhatsApp us to confirm, ask for support, or request delivery.

3.3 We do NOT use tracking cookies, Facebook pixels, or spyware.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

4.1 Deliver orders: Send PDF/Audio link + WhatsApp copy within 5mins

4.2 Customer support: Replace files, track hardcopy, answer questions

4.3 Fraud prevention: Verify payment before delivery, dispute chargebacks

4.4 Updates: Tell past buyers about new books/bundles. Reply "STOP" to opt out anytime.

We NEVER sell, rent, or share your data for marketing. Ever.

5. WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

5.1 Selar: Payment processing, order storage, download hosting. See Selar Privacy: selar.co/privacy

5.2 WhatsApp/Meta: To message you delivery/support only

5.3 Couriers: Name + phone + town only, for hardcopy delivery in Kenya

5.4 Legal: Only if required by Kenyan court order

6. DATA SECURITY & STORAGE

6.1 Stored on: Selar secure servers + WhatsApp Business on our phone

6.2 Protected by: Selar’s encryption + WhatsApp end-to-end encryption

6.3 We don’t print, download, or export customer lists

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

7.1 Order records: 7 years for tax/accounting as required by Kenyan law

7.2 Chat history: Until you request deletion

7.3 Deletion request: WhatsApp "DELETE MY DATA" to wa.me/254752429365. We delete within 7 days after your last order is completed.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

8.1 Access: Ask "SEND MY DATA" and we’ll send what we have

8.2 Correct: Wrong email/number? Tell us, we update

8.3 Delete: Request removal after delivery
