BOOKSHELF - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL

Bookshelf ("we", "us") sells digital books [PDF, Audiobook] worldwide and physical hardcopy books in Kenya. By buying from our Selar store, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, don’t purchase.

2. PRODUCTS & PRICING

2.1 Digital Products: PDF ebooks and Audiobooks. Price: $2 | ₦700 | KSh 50 per title unless bundle pricing applies. Delivered instantly via Selar download + WhatsApp copy within 5 minutes of confirmed payment.

2.2 Physical Products: Hardcopy books. Price: KSh 800 per book. Available in Kenya only. Shipping included.

2.3 Prices may change without notice. The price at checkout is final.

3. PAYMENT

3.1 We accept Selar checkout [Cards, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Mobile Money, USSD] and M-Pesa Till 4182460 for direct orders.

3.2 Payment must be complete before delivery. Unpaid orders are not processed.

4. DELIVERY

4.1 Digital: Instant. Download link appears after Selar confirms payment. We also send a backup copy via WhatsApp. If you don’t receive it in 10 minutes, contact us immediately.

4.2 Hardcopy: Orders paid before 8:00 AM EAT ship same day. Delivery takes 1-3 days within Kenya via courier. Tracking number sent via WhatsApp.

5. LICENSE & USAGE

5.1 Buying a digital product gives you a non-transferable, personal license to read/listen for your own use.

5.2 You may NOT: resell, share, upload to free sites, email to groups, or distribute the file. This is copyright violation.

5.3 Breach = instant ban, no refunds, and legal action via Selar/DMCA takedown.

6. REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS

6.1 Digital: No refunds after download or WhatsApp delivery because files cannot be returned. We will replace free if: link expired, file corrupted, or you bought wrong title by mistake. Contact us within 24hrs.

6.2 Hardcopy: Refund or free replacement only if book arrives damaged [photo proof within 12hrs] or lost in transit after 7 days. No refunds for change of mind after shipping.

6.3 Dispute process: Message wa.me/254752429365 with Order ID + issue. Do not file chargeback before contacting us. Chargebacks after delivery = fraud.

7. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

7.1 Provide correct email + WhatsApp number for delivery.

7.2 For hardcopy, provide accurate delivery address + town. Re-delivery due to wrong address is at your cost.

7.3 Do not use our books to create illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

8. DISCLAIMER

8.1 Books are for education/information. Results vary. We don’t guarantee income, weight loss, healing, or success. Your action creates results, not just reading.

8.2 We are not liable for how you interpret or apply book content.

9. PRIVACY

We collect name, email, phone for delivery/support only. See our Privacy Policy page. We never sell your data.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms. “Last Updated” date will change. Check before each purchase. Continued use = acceptance.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes handled first via WhatsApp mediation, then Kenyan courts if needed.
